Shorthanded Ocean Racing Association of Australia Inc.
Status
SHORAA was incorporated in Queenland in December 2025.
SHORAA is seeking class affiliation with Australian Sailing and national body status with ASIC.
Memberhip is open to all shorthanded sailors.
Objects
- To promote short handed ocean yacht racing in Australia.
- To be affiliated as a class association by Australian Sailing.
- To facilitate awareness of best practice safety for yachts, crew and event management to facilitate safe short handed yacht racing in Australia.
- To conduct the Race Around Australia 2028 and other future events.
