Lodge Your Expression of Interest!

The Shorthanded Ocean Racing Association of Australia has opened expressions of interest in the Race Around Australia 2028.

The doublehanded Race Race Around Australia is 6850 nautical miles with 5 legs and four stopovers with two sprint stages and two pitstops. To be held in 2028, forty years after the original 1988 race, yachts will sail in three oceans in the only race worldwide to circumnavigate a continent.

Whilst two years out, expressions of interest which meet the eligibility requirements will be given Provisional Entrant Status. Entries are on a first come first served basis as the fleet size will be limited based upon stopover logistics. Provisional entrants will have priority logistics and a say in planning the Race.
